Title: Bang for the Buck Motor Drivers
Post by: Builder1 on January 26, 2009, 12:46:45 PM
Hello Everyone,
Could anyone please tell me where to go to buy decent affordable motor drivers? What I am looking for are motor drivers that are Dual 25A 6V-24V Regenerative Motor Drivers and cost less than $100.  I've already searched the net but didnot have much luck, I hope someone has come across a website or two that offer what I'm looking for, thanks in advance for your help.

You've probably already seen the Sabertooth 2X25 and the Parallax HB-25 (you'd need two of these).
You probably won't find anything much cheaper than those without designing it yourself.

If you do, then post what you found as many would probably be interested.

search for a schematic of it a built it yourself, as long as it doesnt have any MCUs onboard you could do that.
