Yes, that's what i was wondering  ???

But anyway, that's cool ( looks like he dances or smth like this when on two "feets", + nice accelerometer-dependant position adaptation)
May the Achtuche be with you...

I don't think it could walk as an biped anyway. It would need some joints to shift its body weight.

Anyway, this is really cool stuff. I don't know what it is though :P

It is just standard (cheap) servos.
The wood is free sticks we get when we buy paint in Denmark; They are supposed to be used to stir the paint - and we can just wonder into any shop and grab a bunch.

You may want to watch this video: http://letsmakerobots.com/node/35

It is this board:
http://194.201.138.187/epages/Store.storefront/?ObjectPath=/Shops/Store.TechSupplies/Products/AXE031
that is used, and that is all there is apart from batteries, servos and the sticks.
It can be programmed to control 21 servos straight out of the box, and is costs £27

erh.. well.. There is a Picaxe chip on it. This is programmed easily in Basic on a PC. A cable is connected to it from the PC to export the code.. But then it is on it's own.
