Title: Higher Voltage to drive motors

My RC receiver will only allow 7.2v to the motors and servos.  How could I add more voltage just to the motors, say, ten more volts?

Motors or servos? Motors don't work with RC receivers :P

If you want to run high voltage motors with a receiver, you'd need a separate motor driver that interfaces between the receiver and the motor.

(it can do 24V+)

Yeah, i forgot about speed controllers.  The only problem with that is that hefty price tag!  :P  A friend and I have a $200 budget to make a 4wd (independent motors), RC bot.  It has to be fast and strong (able to navigate through a thick field).  Could I build a speed controller like that?

what is your level of experience and knowledge in electronics

once we know that we will be able to help you out at a a level that you understand

also ,more details on the robot would be helpful, maximum height, purpose, sensors on it, etc.

If you buy everything ready make not a chance. If you build it yourself, yes you could do it for $200.
