Title: giant Rhex robot

I just saw this today. Anyone know anything about it? It looks like a giant Rhex robot . . .

This was on the show "Prototype This!" on the Discovery Channel. The goal was to create a truly all-terrain vehicle (to ride in) in which the design was based on the Rhex.

Unfortunately, it could only get up for a second before falling down, the chassis was heavier than originally expected...

Sounds like they didn't do a torque calculation :P

the guy in the blue jeans that handles most of the mechanical stuff was well know for always trying to go with raw power and was a build as you go person there for he probably neglegted to do that time saving calculation.
