Title: WebCam light auto-adjust
Post by: legsmacgee on July 18, 2008, 10:39:04 AM
Hello all,

I have a microsoft lifecam 1000 in my hand.  I've been modifying it for use in my ftir touchscreen (i.e. removing IR filter).  However, I still have one issue with it.

Like all other webcams, it has a built-in light auto-adjust feature. :-\  How can I turn this off?  It's making the images captured by the camera hard to interpret.

Thanks!

To Clarify:

I meant auto exposure.  Apologies.

How so?

Typically, it should make it easier!

Anyway, if the software that came with your cam doesn't allow it, there isn't much you can do about it . . .
