it is possible to build a ROBT which uses a single wheel motor , walking in a straight line

Change "walking" to "driving" and it's a YES, if you have the skills (it's definitely not a beginners project).

if you just want to go straight and be powered by a single wheel its simple in theory if you can have other wheels to keep the balance
