Strong little buggers though, those hand clasp servos must be hugely powerful...

lol, it's the concept that counts here;) , this is just the prototype... (*drums)

anyway, really cool video.
interesting how the robot's work together by clamping their mates and helping to pull.

But the videos has been conviniently edited so you can't see how the robot's solve the problem of them collisioning together, you can see the problem when they aren't lined up straight behind eachother...

Yeah I too was wondering how they straightened out... im hoping that maybe they programed the logic that if the last one pulled hard enough, he could straighten everyone out in that line... hopefully the operators didnt have to do it themselves otherwise that defeats the purpose of them taking over and harvesting humans if they need humans to help them do it :P
