Title: ATmega8 C Compiler

Hey guys,
I'm looking to get started with the ATmega8 moving from the PIC18 series. Can anyone recommend a good C compiler? Other advice is welcome too.

avr studio

read the programming section for the $50 robot

codevision is absolutely what you are looking for,it has a magical wizard...but it doesnt debug, you should use avr studio for that
