Game bot
« on: May 22, 2007, 08:55:02 PM »
I don't plan on building this, mainly because of my lack of skill and money, but I had the idea to hack open one of those cheap hand held games (like chess of checkers) and hacking the outputs to the screen to a mechanical hand that can actually play the game, sense what the human's move is, and respond to it.

I would love to see this built, but like I said, I'm inexperienced and poor...  :'(

I think it's certainly do-able. Can IR sensors or light sensors pick up LCD blackness and not-so-blackness?
