What do you need inspect for? Search online for a sensor that can find what you need . . . perhaps ultrasonic scanner would work?

yes

i hve to ispect the track & detect the broken tracks & error in distance between the tracks.can u give me an idea.

are these real train tracks?
are the broken parts just small cracks, or seperation in the track?
its hard to tell you what sensor if i dont know the details, could you explain more?
you can probably just use a photoresistor sensor (http://www.societyofrobots.com/schematics_photoresistor.shtml), so when the light
'breaks,' that is where the track is damaged.

its a white chart paper track on black background.so could u plz say me wat kind of sensors with exact product name.
http://www.robotixiitkgp.org/events.php?page=rti.........que is here......could u plz help me in solving this problem.

a photoresistor/phototransistor sensor (http://www.societyofrobots.com/schematics_photoresistor.shtml), with an LED illuminator, will work best.
just search your favorite electronic parts distributor for either of those names. they are extremely common and very very cheap.
