Yeah, the sound really did it and tricked me in the beginning. First i thought - "Man they've been changing it, and it looks even more creepy now." So perfectly mimicked in the beginning and so perfectly fun later in the video!

Another way you can spot a fake in the you tube video here is the direction the knees bend while walking. Since it is 2 people walking they are bending their knees towards the COG of the frame like this:

When a horse, dog, or cat walks all 4 of the leg's kneecaps bend in the forward direction of walking like this:

There is a theory called "Uncanny Valley" that says that there is a valley where realistic looking robots can cause revulsion in human - beings.
