Hello all,
I am planning to build a platform similar to one in this video:
6 AXIS Motion Control Platform

The platform will be used for precise DSLR camera positioning to record macro video, time lapse, etc.
Here is the linear actuator that I would like to use:

My problem is that I don't know where to get other mechanical parts - joints for actuators and the main frame. The joints are required to be movable in all directions, therefore this bracket is not suitable:

I have searched e-bay and quite a lot of e-shops, but I have not found anything that would fit my needs. I don't think I could make these parts myself as I don't own necessary tools. Is there some e-shop where I can get parts necessary for this kind of machine?

Thanks for any answer  :)

What you want is probably a "ball joint" or perhaps a "universal joint" which can be had from places like:
- McMaster
- eBay
- Midwest Control Products
- sdp/si
- etc

Additionally, you need some way to hook those joints up to the actuators, which likely means drilling holes in metal.

There exists machine shops that can take a CAD drawing and manufacture the parts you need, for a price -- that price is often higher than that of mass-produced parts, but that's what you get for going custom :-)
