Title: Modifying Servos to 180 degrees

How can you modify a servo to 180 degrees? ( not continuous rotation )

theoretically you'd just have to remove the pot, and replace it with a pot with the same value but one that can turn 180°. (the original one should, hopefully, be 90°)
And then you'll have to modifie the mechanical blocking to make sure it can turn 175° freely... 180° isn't possible since the blocking thingy is about 1mm.

But if this all is do-able...i dunno

95% of servos can be bought as 180° already . . . which servo are you trying to modify?

no idea... i think it'll be different for each type of servo.
Or not possible at all.

It'll save you much trouble to just buy a 180° servo.
