Title: Looking for "engineer" for simple mechatronic project
Post by: andreco on March 09, 2010, 04:58:52 PM
For a private project (see attached file) I am looking for a constructor. Prototype to mass-production depending on offered support and price.
The data sheet contains the needed components but does not reveal the entire product due to legal reasons (invention, patent not yet secured). Thanks for understanding. Contact details in attached sheet.

I am currently way to busy to work on such a project, but these are the questions I would have.

do you want the device designed from scratch?

is it been developed from a proof of concept prototype?

what sort of scale of manufacture are you looking at?

Good questions.
Design: I have precise ideas for the design but it stays currently a paper idea.
Concept: No, prototype not yet built
I want to commercialise the final product (the data sheet doesnt contain the entire product itself). So its the big scale manufacturing with budget on hand.
Better answers I can give once I can start a dialogue with my future partner(s).
Thanks

I can help design after may 17th, as I have a project running to that deadline.

if that project falls through I can help you earlier. I'll send you a PM with a contact address, if your still intrested.

Hi,

Plastic might not be the best choice for the "Panikhacken", unless they come tried and tested of course.
"Piece of string" doesn't sound very stable, is this a rigid design parameter?

Your doc doesn't say anything about size restriction, or how you want it (draft, finished prototype or anything in between)?

Personally, I don't design subsystems without knowing the complete project, as this may have some influence on methods etc. But I'm willing to design an NDA if that would further the revealing of the project.

PM me if you're interested.
