Title: Point to point communications
Post by: Webbot on May 12, 2008, 01:45:03 PM
Has anyone used these devices either for data-logging from the robot to the pc, or inter-communication between robots? I'm looking for both uses.

They look good as, if I understand them, you can go straight from your mcu UART pins to BlueTooth without any intervening TTL->RS232, RS232->BlueTooth etc. So are a lot more compact and cheaper(?).

Appears so:

(page 3 mentions converting to rs232, so I assume its a UART signal by default)
