robot code,how does it work?

can someone please tell me how writing code and stuff works,i have no idea ???

you learn a programming language. whether it be C, basic, java, etc.

you write the program in that language.

then use a compiler to change that code into machine language.

then program in to the MCU

I can't remember exactly when i started, but this is probably the beginning of my second year of actually doing robotics stuff. Plus my dads a programmer, so that helps.  ;D I've been interested about robotics a lot longer than i've been doing it. Actually, I've been doing robotics stuff since i was like 8 or 9 if you include LEGO robotics, and i'm still on a first lego league robotics team. I guess i've always been interested about electronics stuff. Now that i practically wrote an autobiography about myself, can we get back on topic?
