Title: Merry Christmas!
Post by: Soeren on December 23, 2010, 01:54:03 AM
Hi All,

Just an early Merry X-mas from me, as I'm heading for Germany in a couple of hours and won't be online until late on the 25th.

May (some of) your wishes come through  ;D

Merry Christmas everyone :)

Sorry I've been lurking more than conversing.

Hope you have fun in Germany, Soeren :)

Merry Christmas to everyone! Nice morning here, Santa brought lots of servos! Now I have to build a humanoid... or hexapod? He-he!

Hi,

Hope you have fun in Germany, Soeren :)
Thanks, I did, but the trip down there was stretched into 11.5 hours (usually 5 hours) due to a blizzard. Waiting in the cold and then hitting an overheated train or bus for a bit of the trip, then waiting some more, freezing then overheating several times is probably the reason that our colds came back amplified.
But Christmas Evening was nice and cozy and the return trip went reasonably pain free  ;D

So did you all score well with Santa?
(Anyway, a lump of coal just needs a little pressure  :P)

Ouch... Though I dare say it's a bit better than being caught mid-air in one 8)
Sorry to hear the journey there was so rough though. Pretty sure the dramatic temp changes would have made myself somewhat nauseous  :-\

The Electronic Santa was nice to me: got a few servos, IR LED's and various bits & pieces to tinker with
