Hi
can i use the snsor bus power to power and LED. I would assume to use a resisotr and all but all i want to clarify is will it damage my robot.
The reason i am being so carefull was due to my last run in with my power problem.
Thanks Joker94

Yes. Actually any of the pins could be set to output to drive the LED.

great thenks for that ;D

There is no point in taking room of a pin, just put it on the side of extra holes in your PCB and solder it under the board. Unless you want to actually control it, that is a different story. I don't understand your question entirely, do you want to be able to control it?

No sorry, i dont want to control it i just want to use the power from the sensor bus. It is for the automated putting ball return i am making and i just need a powered led, and to save having cable running every where and the fact that i have 6 sensor buses and only need 2 at the most for this project i figured i'll use and on board power source.
and i suppose i could do the same with the servo power to?

Just remember the voltage for each bus and use the correct resistor ;)

done that :D, used one of those resistor clculators.
