Title: One quick question
Post by: Rebelgium on August 30, 2007, 07:07:28 PM
What is the max continuous current of the L98 motor driver?
Here's the datasheet:
http://www.st.com/stonline/products/literature/ds/1773/l298.pdf

I can only find the max current surge/peak: 2A

It says 'non repetative' is 3A (100 us) and repetative (80% pwm) is 2.5A and i believe 2A is continous (they call it DC operation).

What you gonna use it for?

Oh crap yeah  :D
I misread that... tnx

I'm going to use it to drive my motors  ;)
I'm still in the design stage, so it's not sure yet...
