Title: How to make a quadcopter?

I have been looking around at different robot pages and found quadcopters to be really interesting. But I am having a hard time finding any useful information on how they work and how to make one.

Does anyone have a link to something I could look at?

Im not planning to build one (might be a bit out of my league :P) but would like to know how they are made.
