what kind of wire?

ok guys im a complete noob at robotics and this is a stupid question but what size and guage wire should i use? thanx ***bacon***'

*sigh* but just to help a noob out, 24-28gauge for smaller amperage. how many amps do you think will go through the wire? what will this be used for?

24-28 would be idle but you can use prettymuch anything but its just harder to solder on if its too big/too small.
