RC car body kits?
« on: October 05, 2007, 08:36:40 PM »
Hey guys, I need an rc car body kit. It has to be empty so I could put my servos in it along with the receiver. I am getting this radio system: http://www.rcplanet.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=FUTJ25&CartID=1

In my opinion it's really cheap for what they're giving. John (Admin) mentioned that it's AM and it will not have good range. How many feet would it be?

So if you guys run across a cool body kit like Nissan Skyline, Ferrari F-50, Honda S-2000, and etc., please tell me.
(I just want to make sure if I can ask these questions about RC cars, since this is a robotics site, can I ask those questions?

you can ask any question that is related to robotics or electronics in any way

Umm, why not just get the car body from an old r/c car?
Check out the Roboduino, Arduino-compatible board!

I ravaged all of my and my friend's cars and we got 5 of them (like 3 days ago). I didn't know I could use those parts so I damaged them while opening them. They only things I saved were DC motors and 2 didn't work. Right now I have about 4 or 5 of them. That's why I was asking for an H-Bridge (thank you for the free sample you showed me airman. I really appreciate it):
