Title: how to make a 6inch screw rotate with a motor....what type of shafts?

I need to rotate a 6inch long cylindrical screw with a simple servo motor. the diameter of the screw is about 1cm. I cannot find shafts that can do so.

would a collar screwed to a sevo horn with the shaft secured in the centre be adiquet.

do i have the right idea ???
