Title: sonar
Post by: cata on April 08, 2011, 09:57:38 AM
How I can detect things with a sonar sensor under the water ?
I understand that the sonar sensors build with piezoelectric sensor
But I think that it is possible to implement a sonar sensor with microphone and loudspeaker did I right or maybe I am make a mistake ?
Maybe you have any other idea to send the pulse and to detect the pulse ?

If you think it's not simple, then don't complicate things by trying to make something that won't work - buy a proper sonar X-ducer set.

i'll ammend this buy saying "unless it's really cheep to do by comparison" but since you can get a built sensor for $10 it's a i'm skeptical.
