Post by: scadabg on March 19, 2010, 05:52:57 AM
Hi ,

for those of you who are interested to control your robot with a cell phone and a bluetooth module see http://www.microcontroller-bg.com/btterm (http://www.microcontroller-bg.com/btterm)

The software is open source and is available for download from the above mentioned website.

Regards,
George

I'm trying this out on my new phone. But got two problems . . .

First, my laptop can't find my phone's bluetooth. But both my laptop and my phone (using BTTerm) can however find/connect to the bluesmirf bluetooth on my robot just fine.

Also . . .
1) it won't let me choose a baud rate
2) it won't let me send commands without going through the Text input menu first . . . I'd like to type directly into the command prompt if possible! I'm trying to use it as a remote control, so I need quick access to sending commands.

If you can fix these issues, I'll can help make your software famous :P

And actually, upon exiting, I'd like it to ask if I'd like to turn my bluetooth off again :P
