No need to send in a soldier to toss a robot through the window . . . this robot does it all by itself.
Boston Dynamics also claims it can even accurately go through windows, but I have my doubts.
It looks very much in the prototype stage, so probably another year or two before the military starts using them . . .

Hahahahahahah all I could do was laugh maniacally. Awesome little bot though. I was surprised when it jumped off of the roof. That's a long fall.

Actually the military is funding this. Funding is by Darpa (Defense Advanced Research Projects) and by Rapid Equipping Force (US Army)...

It occurs to me just now that it probably doesn't jump off sand very well :)
