G'day,

I'm making a not so educated guess that a wheely bin is a shopping cart.

lol! no mate a wheely bin is a big 2x2x5ft bin with two wheels on it.. A Wheelie Bin

yeh mate I'm an Aussie, just finished wrestling a few crocodiles as a matter of fact... Private Read knows im aussie. I noticed a DSE battery in one of his pics.. hehe

Mate strap a V8 to the bloody thing, that will get it moving! jk

What are u using it for, I like the idea. I would love to rock up to work in a wheelie bin! lol

Um seriuosly though,, it will be dificult because of weight distribution.. Its top heavy with a base with small surface are. U will need weight on the bottom...
Are u gonna ad an extra 2 wheels to make it more stable, otherwise it will just drag the bin...
for power u might want to rip off the engine from one of those tiny petrol moped things or use a hight powered electric motor with low rpm (>250rpm depending on wheel diametre). I would suggest building a base to sit under it so u can properly mount wheels and room for motors n shit...

good luk

Perhaps you could use tank treads for locomotion, that would get rid of your weight distribution problem, if you could put two in the front, two in the back. Anyway, are you planning on riding this thing standing or sitting?
