instant autopilot device: AttoPilot

Basically put this device into your model plane and you have instant way point navigation.

Well that's just the microcontrollers cost . . . you have to buy a $60 GPS and a $70 Co-Pilot Flight Stabilization System for it to work (total ~$160).

True, but that is still quite cheap in comparison to commercial autopilots, plus the code is open source.

Infrared I beleive, it tries to balance out to the horizon so that theres equal amounts of IR on all sides.
