« on: October 27, 2016, 04:49:45 PM »
Dear friends

I am working on a soccer robot for robocup competitions. I have found some interesting omni directional wheels for my robot which has some significant advantages. It is thinner and lighter than the most of the other omni wheels. Moreover it has a good friction and I could move my robot very easily and efficiently.
I want to suggest you to see these interesting omni wheel
the website is :

does anyone have use them already?

what are the dimensions of those wheels?

I've never used Omni's and I'm hoping I can get the following answered as well as your questions.

*What are the trade-off's with larger vs smaller rollers on the omni wheels. I see some that have a ton of tiny small wheels and others which only have 3-4 rollers. What is the pro vs con with this?

They have 5 types of wheels with 4 grade for each. You can see their website  for more detail

Depends on your robot, smaller rollers can help the robot to move more easily and more important is that in robocup competitions that the size of the robot and the mass is very important these thin and light omni wheels can help well

does anyone know more?
