Stepper Motor Tutorial

I have uploaded a new tutorial in the Members Area called 'Stepper Motors (2)'

I've tried to write down what I've learned by playing with a stepper motor - I had never used one before.

wow, I haven't actually explored other means of drive systems, pretty much sticking to servos for now since i'm still a newb.

stepper motors seems very useful for large robots.

Just to pre-empt some future comments I've decided that I'm really driving my uni-polar motor in a bi-polar manner. Everything still works but I just need a week (busy at the mo') to get back and revise some of my comments.

Great - but if you're looking at drive motors then go through the whole stepping frequency / gearing consideration. Else you might have a motor that works great - but takes 30 seconds to do a revolution. So check out the specs before you buy.

hmmmm I think there is a bug in member_tutorials . . . I see:

written all over your tutorial and don't know why
