Post by: airman00 on September 30, 2007, 06:47:29 PM
I have autocad inventor 2008 professional ( just got it, still doing those tutorials......... so annoying, yet cool  :P)

Admin: I downloaded your sumo robot CAD files. Nice! But my question is where did you get the part file for the servo? What online source do you use?  Or maybe you just make the part yourself......( hmmmmmmm...)

I make my own parts ;D

Inventor has a built in tutorial, thats how I originally learned how to use the software.

Basically you make a 2D drawing, then tell it how tall the shape is so you get 3D.

As for that image, I did that in AutoDesk 2D like 4+ years ago . . . basically a useless program by todays standards . . .
