Go to http://www.societyofrobots.com
There are GREAT tutorials there which will answer alot of questions for you. I suggest you do some reading there first and maybe even do the 50$ robot tutorial. Personally, I'm almost not using msn anymore, but I'd love to help you through the forum if you get stuck.

Good luck and welcome!!

I suggest you build the $50 robot. here: http://www.societyofrobots.com/step_by_step_robot_step1.shtml
I have my build journal here: http://www.societyofrobots.com/robotforum/index.php?topic=2909.msg32935#msg32935

BTW what do you guys think if there was a "Robot construction journals" section?
