I was reading the 50$ robot tutorial and I was at the part where it says to put the servo mount on your servo, I don't think mine came with mounts! I ordered the hs-311 from servo city and it only came with 4 little black rubber pieces. And there is no way I can use them to mount the servo. Did I order the wrong servo packaging or something?

Apparently not. I did find more info in the forum though: http://www.societyofrobots.com/robotforum/index.php?topic=1496.0 (http://www.societyofrobots.com/robotforum/index.php?topic=1496.0)

no, you didnt order the wrong package. I also ordered two HS-311 servo's from http://www.robotshop.ca/ and they did not come with servo mounts either. What i did to compensate for this was to just buy some small L-brackets at my local Rona hardware store. They were to wide at first so i just went at them with my grinder until they were slim enough for the hole on the bracket to match up with the mounting hole on the servo. I simply just bought a couple small nuts, bolts and lock washers to hold everything together.

they dont come with mounts, they are a separate purchase. you can make some out of a block of wood though
