i was surfing the net as i do when i get board and i came upon this
http://www.pyroelectro.com/projects/ir_radar/index.html (http://www.pyroelectro.com/projects/ir_radar/index.html)
and i was wondering could this circut be modified to work with the a atmega8
and if it could be also be modifyed to do a full 360 dregree insted of how ever much it is geting now
if thay could be done some one wanna make up some scmatics for it

That device is made with a sharp rangefinder. You will see an implementation for this as an upgrade of the $50 robot, I think that admin used an atmega8 with it.
It can easily be modified to do a 360 sweep, as long as it goes forwards then backwards again otherwise the wires would get tangled

yes he did but i want it to come out on a display like wat is being used on that one in the link

For a display, program an LCD (read my uart tutorial) to show the reading as you like. Or attach LED's to the 'servo' ports on the $50 robot.
A different reading controls a different LED set to light up, etc.

Just compile the C-source and set up your compiler to generate the .asm file.

It can easily be modified to do a 360 sweep, as long as clicking here (http://www.niceledlights.com/category/led-lights/led-light-bulbs/) it goes forwards then backwards again otherwise the wires would get tangled
What are the other advantages of this technology?
