need help

I would like to start building something. Basicly it would be a decent sized platform with 6 wheels. With a body coming out of one end. (upper torso, arms, head,) The arms will beable to punch forward and hammer down onanother bot. This will be a fighting robot so i want it to be basic as possible. The only problem is I can't find a RC site to buy from. I have some old remote control cars but i don't know where the remotes are.

Can anyone help me out?

What do You define as "decent size"? We only undersand inches/mills/meters/feet/etc.  ;D

Actually, If you've ever seen sir_kill_alot from robotwars thats basicly what I would like to build. About the size of a small dog, maybe bigger.

I'm looking for a good store to buy parts from. I Figured I could build a large remote control truck and strip it down but the only ones I've seen were around 150$. What I'm looking to build is just a 6 wheeled base with 2 moveable arms. If anyone has Experince making something like this, some advice would be much apreciated.

Yes exactly. But SirK is worth thousands (at least was) and very big. I'm looking to make a bare bones version.
