$50 Robot Circuit Board Q
« on: April 26, 2009, 05:09:11 PM »
Hello. I am on STEP 3b: CONSTRUCT THE CONTROLLER of the $50 robot tutorial. About halfway through, in the step where you add the black ground wires, it looks like the leads to one of the 5 pin headers for the programmer are soldered together in a line like the others shown in the pictures above. There was no dedicated pic of this and I am not completely sure when I zoom in. I have attached a pic to clarify my question. Thank you in advance.

OK. I think I see that. So, I should solder the four you indicated together and connect the ground wire to them. The remaining pin and the five on the second row are all "independent" (not soldered) of one another then, correct?

Thanks.

yes those four get jumpered to gnd. out of the other pins i think there is one nc (not connected) and the rest go to pins like mosi, miso, reset and vcc.
