A look at the hand exoskeleton.
Mechanical hand (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KmERU5bPdaA#)

:)

It's beautiful! Ah, the ingenuity of the imagination!
With some electronic actuators and sensors, that exoskeleton might make a great frame for an android hand, or a prosthetic liberator, I'd imagine...
-
I almost wouldn't mind losing a hand, if I could get one of these babies LOL
-
How much did that cost to make?
And did you use aluminum, or something else?
Thats really cool!
-
Made of steel.

What exactly is this hand supposed to be used for, it looks like it has holes for your fingers to fit in and operate. Does that mean it is intended to be used as part of some sort of suit, an iron man type thing possibly? I've seen a few vidoes of suits being produced for the army which help soldiers lift huge weights, maybe it is intended for something like that!

Do not know yet. You can use instead of gloves. For toxic substances...
-
This is still a prototype. Forward proposals for the use of the paddle.

Does it make you any stronger? Like when you were lifting that water bottle with one finger, did it feel the same? Or does it give you a tiny bit of a mechanical advantage, so it feels a little lighter, or heavier even?
-
Almost equal. Bottle it seemed less weight.

Nicely designed, and I like the video intro too.
Any thoughts on adding mechanical advantage through the levers to increase kitten crushing power?
Or perhaps motorizing it so its not dependent on your finger strength?
