i am on my project building a 5 fingers robotic hand.

what is suitable for the hand's shape? the length of each fingers need to calculated and how?

what kind of motors should be used to make a grip fast enough to catch ball thrown to it?

And for the hand structure, what kind of matrial that i should use?

you are basically asking us to do your entire project for you.

Please do some research on the internet before asking such a general question.

start broad, there are many different mechanical hand designs that have already been accomplished. You may want to begin by researching those different hand types.
