What is your robots purpose?

So why are you building robots and what is your goal for your robot?

Personally, I enjoy simply building.  Although I'm not building right now because I don't know what to build.  So I submit the above question to the community in part to provide inspiration to myself and others who might need inspired.

The idea of my internet-controlled butler robot (link coming soon) is partly for me to learn new programming languages (C++, Java) and partly for me to build a cool drink-serving robot, as I'm too lazy to walk to the fridge and back ;D!
