Something i found while surfing hackaday, thought it was pretty cool.
Project Thunderbird is an automated predator and pest control system. It consists of a pellet gun mounted in a motorized base. The icing on the cake is a 60x zoom camera that has cross-hairs superimposed on the picture.

Well, with a sharp ir or two and a roboduino this thing could easily be one!

Cool idea, not a fan of the video though. C'mon, the first two minutes could be shortened to 30 seconds and still show all the parts of the device.
And i would want faster controls. It speeds to make very slow movements.

Yeah, the video kinda annoyed me too.
I think it could have been done a lot better with a simple pan/tilt setup with brackets on the motors...
