hello, in step 2 of the $50 robot tutorial, it shows how to make the bot remote controlled. I`m not using a nimh pack, i`m using a battery holder. There are two wires coming out of the battery holder and I`m not sure how to connect them to the servos and to the receiver. I also read the "REMOTE CONTROL ROBOTS" page but I still can`t figure it out. Thanks in advance.

You will need to attach a female molex header to those two wires (just like the connector on the servo wires) to plug it in to the reciever.
Id recommend just getting a battery pack . . .

Hi, I live in brazil and its too expensive to buy the battery pack and the battery pack charger in dollars plus shipping.
Do you know any tutorial to attach that header to the two wires? I tried looking on google but I couldn`t find anything. Will I need a crimp tool?
Also, I cant find the keywords "female molex header", I can only find "female molex connector" and "female molex pins" I think you probably meant the connector, right?
My servos haven`t arrived yet and I don`t want to wait until they do to order the header, it would take too long. So is this the header you`re talking about? http://www.jab-tech.com/ConnectorZ-Pro-Female-4-Pin-Molex-UV-Green-pr-2196.html

On the second half of this page I show how to crimp wires:
http://www.societyofrobots.com/schematics_photoresistor.shtml
these are the digikey part numbers:
WM2512-ND pins
WM2801-ND 3 pin housing
WM2800-ND 2 pin housing
Im sure other places than just digikey sell those . . .
I need to crimp some wires soon so I might make a video of it within a week or two if I have time.

hi
I dont have a crimp tool, so that would be just as expensive as the nimh batteries or more.
I found something, so hopefully this will be my last question about batteries.
Can any of these battery boxes connect directly to the receiver?

Hitec Battery Box: 72MHz Rx System HRC57216 (http://cgi.ebay.com/Hitec-Battery-Box-72MHz-Rx-System-HRC57216_W0QQitemZ250143851202QQihZ015QQcategoryZ34063QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem)
I can`t really figure the difference between them, but I think they all work, right? So I would just plug that RX connector that comes out of the battery box into the receiver, right? Thank you in advance.

Yes, all of them should work. The last one would be best.
