That poor big dog is gonna develope an attitude problem. He's constantly being kicked!

Im just working on a quad myself, I hope i can get it to jump or gallop like that at the end!

 When the big dog slips on the ice and then right itself is amazing.

 What kind of sensors and controllers are used to get such reactions and control? Some kind of gyros?

I know this thread is way old but I just saw a new, expanded little dog vid.

HOWEVER, from watching the video it seems like he already "knows" the terrain.  So all he has to do is figure out where to put his feet.  (Which is a feat in itself)  He's not scanning it himself. 

EDIT:  Actually, I lied, he doesn't even need to figure out where to put his feet.  He already knows good footholds either by previous experience or from a human telling him.
