USB PIC 16F* Programmer

(1/3) > >>

reSpawn:
Hi there :)
I'm wondering if someone here built an USB PIC programmer for 16F, and can share schematics so I can build one myself.

hazzer123:
Are you a beginner?
Why not use serial or parallel instead? There are dozens of different schematics on the internet supporting most 16F chips. One of the most common being the TAIT parallel programmer i believe. Here is a link (click Supported Programmers) http://www.ic-prog.com/index1.htm.

USB, i have heard, is much more difficult to build circuits for and for this application it has no advantages i dont think.

reSpawn:
Okay.... I'll buy an USB-to-Serial adaptor then :)
