loading programs form cd drive...

ok so i have an old cd drive that i took off of my old computer and was wondering if there is any way to make it to were i can put a cd in it with the program and have it load it onto the memory chip(or maybe have the chip feed off of the cd
my english teacher once said, "dont talk about what you dont know in public...."

so I replied the truth, " Exactly why I dont ever talk about English."

Hi,

There is a way, but it involves building an interface with a µ-controller to translate - but you have to learn a god deal on (E)IDE protocol to achieve this.
These days, flash memory with an SPI interface comes cheap though, so it just doesn't make sense anymore.

A rather fast and fairly heavy robot with quite large wheels needs what? A lot of power?
