Cheap DIY Vacuum Formed Homemade Plastic Parts

I thought it would go great with this video to make a cheap homemade vacuum formed base or part made out of plastic.

This would be cool for a lightweight part. Just make it out of wood or something else, use the vacuum former to make a mold and pour the plastic into the mold. I haven't tried this yet because I have been to busy with other projects, and school, but I plan to. If you have tried this let me know how it goes, and as will I when I get around to it. The only thing I would change about the vacuum former is make a better, reusable way to change sheets of polystyrene (maybe a bunch of camps or something like that).
