Just apply high voltage/current  ;)

Hi,

Just apply high voltage/current  ;)
What if the data-less component happens to be eg. a high voltage, high current thyristor or similar?
Regards,
Søren

A rather fast and fairly heavy robot with quite large wheels needs what? A lot of power?

But how would you know it's high voltage/current thyristor, without the datasheet?  ;)

I have a 12KV, 60mA transformer in my closet. That should take care of it.

Exactly my point!
Without knowing there's just try (regardless of what the little green stuffed animal is StarWars may think), as there's no such thing as infinite power.

Yeah, that'll teach a bugger like this   :P

I don't even think it will impress this, or even much smaller devices much, considering its 200kOhm impedance, which will yeild a measly 89V over the 15 Ohm device - even a 200 Ohm component will take it to 1kV.

Søren

Well then, There's always my neighbor with a Pole-Pig rated higher, or I could go back to college and ask for some time with the experimental sub-station I used to work with.

Also, Will it Blend?

Language barrier alert.
Pole-Pig... I get mental images of an escapee from a merry-go-round (and some other that would probably get censored if written here ;))

He-he, still no better than a sledge hammer and certainly not as safe ;D
Kinda sad really, that some people have such a huge need for "fame" and no real claim to it  ::)

We have the equivalent here in DK. A really disgusting bloke in his twenties, who wants to be famous just by wanting it - i.e. he's got zero abilities, is the prototype of a male chauvinist, sadly without even a bit of wit to carry him through, left school early and is (or used to be) living on welfare. He's P-ugly, unsanitary and even towards his friends he's a jerk... In short, the least likely candidate to fame and yet he still manages to pop up in the boob tube behaving like he was celebrity.
Perhaps he should start blending stuff... Would be nice to see him try with his head first, although there's probably not much that would get hurt there.

Whatever happened to "contribute something useful or stop wasting peoples life"?  :o

Søren

It's actually paid viral advertising by the company that makes the blender. The guy is just the actor they hired. I think it worked quite well, I certainly recognize the brand wherever I go now.

A Dalek prototype or a horny can?

Ahaaa, the pig's inside the can  ;D
