Title: servos for the 50$ robot

hi everyone im new and im planning to build the 50$robots probably with the ir but i dont feel confortable to modify the servo can i buy already modified servos?where?

At that point you might as well buy extras if you really think you're going to mess some up :)

it really isnt that hard.  all you need is crazy glue, a small screwdriver sharp knife, and tweezers.  take gears out w/ tweezer so they arent contaminated and place them on a clean surface.  then saw the pot off using the scissors.  make sure there are no burs as to not interrupt the gears when they are spinning.  send the signal through the microcontroller to the servo.  use tweezers to turn pot until gear stops.  crazy glue it in place, then put servo back together.  very simple.
