Why dont the garages just park over the cars? Would be a lot easier.

yea these are pretty cool, I saw some of the rotating kind when I was in japan.
my friend had his car stuck on the top level one time, so they had to rotate
through a whole bunch of cars, it took like 5 min. I was still impressed but
he seemed a bit put off that his was put on top. :-\

The think about the software company and licensing....that's a load of BS
another one of the many reasons gpl is a better than proprietary in the
public (E.G. non military) domain

for those who saw Tokyo Drift (that car racing moving where the cars 'drift' around in Japan), they had a robot garage in it for a good like 2 minutes of footage.

it really doesnt matter if you live in a developed country . . . in most cases robot garages are more expensive per parking space than regular garages . . . only when land is super crazy expensive, such as in tokyo, or NY, will it be cheaper than the traditional parking garage (because it requires less land) . . .
