I'm trying to design a robot that will follow a single person around, stopping at a certain distance before actually bumping into them. Does anyone have any ideas as to the simplest way to achieve this?

for my idea, you need two motor drivers, 2 IR rangers, 2 PIR motion sensors, and a dual comparator
now research all of those items
