How do you control stepper motors, the one's that turn both directions?
I'm using a PIC microcontroller. Do I need to buy some kind of speed controller to control stepper motors?

See my stepper tutorial http://www.societyofrobots.com/member_tutorials/node/120 (http://www.societyofrobots.com/member_tutorials/node/120) which also includes links to my Stepper Motor driver.

Ive just completed a stepper motor tutorial that concentrates on software methods for controlling them without a commercial stepper controller - (they can go faster than you think)
